The World was heading to work today and happened to see this accident on Six Forks Road. Traffic was backed up and at times stopped, so I had plenty of time to take a picture.
Emergency services were there and the accident was at the point where everyone involved was standing around waiting for the tow trucks to show up. Nobody seemed to be hurt, which was amazing considering we had one telephone pole down and two vehicles up on a hill.
So, this being the day and age where there are now seven versions of CSI on TV…I started to put my pretend knowledge to work. That got me nowhere, but I wondered how the larger pickup truck made it up the hill. If you notice, the street sign is still standing, but the telephone pole on the far side got knocked down.
By my analysis, the smaller car pushed the larger truck up the small hill. But, how did the telephone pole get knocked down, which direction were they coming from originally and why must everyone slow down and look at the accident causing me to be late for work!?
