NBC17 Softball Wins, Penn Runs
Game two of the season for NBC17’s softball team, The Bad News Bears, went a little better than the first game. We limped away victorious, 7-6 against the team from 96Rock.
There were plenty of highlights in the game; well…maybe plenty isn’t the best word to use. Either way, the lowlights are always more fun to show and talk about. Well, I have the best of both worlds!
Sports director Penn Holderness got a hold of one in the game and ended up with a double. But, as most of you know, Penn is a tall fellow…and tall fellows have long legs. Producer/Coach Mike Justice is not a tall fellow….and doesn’t have long legs. Combine the two and the base paths and you have a situation.

I’d like to say that no one was hurt during the filming of this video, but producer Mike Justice was seen limping around the newsroom Monday and as of now is questionable for next week’s game.
