Meet The Treadmill Walking Dog
Dog walking in the winter and dog walking in the middle of the summer is usually fun for only one person…the dog. I now have a solution that should make everyone happy!
First, I need to tell you about Corey, he is our senior audio engineer here at NBC17. If you hear it on our newscast in the evening, he is in charge of it. Corey and his family are the proud new owners of a six month old Golden Doodle dog named Kya. They got Kya from Kansas where apparently they train dogs to run on a treadmill.
Corey first started running Kya on the treadmill in the winter because of the cold weather, but now even with nicer spring weather here in the Triangle, Kya still loves the treadmill. Kya will run for up to an hour, about three miles with the incline on almost every day.
Now that I feel like a lazy slob…here are some pictures of this get in shape girl.
