Surfing Dogs Working For Charity
You’ve seen the surfing squirrel and maybe you have even witnessed a surfing dog…but these canines are doing it for a good cause. In case you missed it earlier this week on The Nightly News with Brian Williams, here is the story.
Lee Cowan was covering a different kind of surfing competition in southern California. There were plenty of rescued dogs and their owners all surfing to raise money for Modest Needs, a national charity benefiting regular families trying to stay economically afloat. It was the Loews Coronado Surf Dog Competition in San Diego, California.
